Drive- Thru Collection in West Parking Lot

In 1990, Souper Bowl of Caring began with a simple prayer from a single youth group:  “Lord, even as we enjoy the Super Bowl football game, help us be mindful of those without a bowl of soup to eat.”  Since then, more than $170 million has been generated for local charities across the country through Souper Bowl of Caring. It has become a powerful movement that transforms the time around the Big Game into the nation’s largest celebration of giving and caring for those in need.  Through this mission, youth learn they can make a positive difference in the world as they collect food, raise money and serve at hunger-relief charities and show caring and compassion in local communities across the country.

Help us tackle hunger in our own community by joining our Youth Group on Saturday, February 12 from 9 -11 am as they host a Souper Bowl Weekend mission "Drive-Thru" collection for The Food Pantry of Waukesha County. This event will be held in the back parking lot and will be a 100% contactless collection.  The Food Pantry has specifically requested the following items at this time:  Canned Fruit, Cereal and Canned Protein (i.e. Ham, Tuna, Chicken, Tofu, Soup with Meat, Pastas with Meat, etc.).  Additional items are listed below.

Thank you for supporting the Youth Group and their efforts to help their neighbors.  Visit Tackle Hunger or the Food Pantry to learn more about how you can help end food insecurity in our community.
