ADULT MINISTRY

The Spiritual Formation Team, with Greta Hietpas as our pastoral lead, offers classes and learning opportunities for both members and non-members of FUMC.  These classes are offered throughout the year and they include book and movie studies, guides for reflections and meditation, poetry workshops, and small group studies.

Circle of Sisters

Once a month on the 4th Monday
7:00 – 8:30 pm
September – May

This monthly women’s ministry is designed to provide a small group experience to meet the unique needs women have to connect and share.  Each meeting will include worship, prayer, book study and fellowship.  This year we will read and reflect on the book "Braiding Sweetgrass" by Robin Wall Kimmerer. To join contact Pastor Greta.

Men's Breakfast Study

Second Sunday of each month
8:30 - 9:30 am

This ongoing group offers fellowship with other men of the church, good food, and good discussions about being a man of faith in today’s society.  Each month a different discussion leader brings a topic for the group to discuss. Contact our church office for more information.

Living Faith Today

Every Tuesday
6:30 - 7:30 pm via ZOOM

Each Tuesday a different topic covering a recent event or current issue is discussed.  The class looks at the issue and studies how the Bible informs our beliefs and actions related to the issue.  Participants then discuss how we relate and respond to the issue as individuals and as a church.  Contact our church office for more information.

Summer Book Club with Pastor Greta

Monday, July 19 - 6:30-7:30 pm
and/or
Wednesday, August 11 - 6:30-7:30 pm

Educating ourselves about the experiences of others is an excellent way to build compassion and understanding. With that in mind, we’ve chosen two books to read and discuss in the West church parking lot this summer. Bring your own chair and refreshments. Adults, youth, and children are all encouraged to attend. Learn more about the books HERE then SIGN UP for one or both.
