Prelude:
"Joyful, Joyful We Adore Thee" Beethoven, arr. Craig Curry. Offered by the FUMC Combo.
Prayer of Confession, Words of Assurance & Pardon:
May we pray in unison:
We praise you O God for the invitation to your table of justice and joy. We confess we have not served you as we ought, and we have rebelled against your love. Forgive and free us to worship you that we may follow you with boldness, in the power and love we know as Christ. Amen.
Hear the good news: by grace we have been saved through faith. In the name of Jesus Christ, you are forgiven.
In the name of Jesus Christ you are forgiven. Glory to God. Amen.
Opening Hymn:
"Welcome" by Laurie Zelman and Mark Miller, FUMC Combo and Mike & Melanie Jipson
#3152
Let’s walk together for a while and ask where we begin
to build a world where love can grow and hope can enter in,
to be the hands of healing and to plant the seeds of peace,
singing welcome, welcome to this place.
You’re invited to come and know God’s grace.
All are welcome the love of God to share
‘cause all of us are welcome here, all are welcome in this place.
Let’s talk together of a time when we shall share a feast,
where pride and power kneel to serve the lonely and the least,
and joy will set the table as we join our hands to pray,
singing welcome, welcome to this place.
You’re invited to come and know God’s grace.
All are welcome the love of God to share
‘cause all of us are welcome here, all are welcome in this place.
Let’s dream together of the day when earth and heaven are one,
a city built of love and light, the new Jerusalem,
where our mourning turns to dancing, every creature lifts its voice,
crying welcome, welcome to this place.
You’re invited to come and know God’s grace.
All are welcome the love of God to share
‘cause all of us are welcome here, all are welcome in this place.

Liturgy: The Great Thanksgiving - Communion, led by
The Lord be with you.
And also with you.
Lift up your hearts.
We lift them up to the Lord.
Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
It is right to give our thanks and praise.
…And so, with your people on earth and all the company of heaven, we praise Your name and join their unending hymn:
Holy, holy, holy Lord, God of power and might, heaven and earth are full of Your glory.
Hosanna in the highest. Blessed is the One who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest.
…And so, in remembrance of these Your mighty acts in Jesus Christ, we offer ourselves in praise and thanksgiving as a holy and living sacrifice, in union with Christ’s offering for us, as we proclaim the mystery of faith.
Christ has died; Christ is risen; Christ will come again.
…Through Your Son Jesus Christ, with the Holy Spirit in Your holy Church, all honor and glory is Yours, almighty God now and forever.
Amen.
The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

Closing Hymn: (Adjusted road map below - this text is correct)
"Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone)" Composer/Lyricist,
offered by FUMC Combo and Kurt Eisenmann #3104
Amazing grace! How sweet the sound
that saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost but now I'm found;
was blind, but now I see.
'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear;
and grace my fears relieved.
How precious did that grace appear
the hour I first believed.
My chains are gone, I've been set free.
My God, my Savior, has ransomed me.
And like a flood His mercy reigns,
unending love, amazing grace.
The Lord has promised good to me;
his word my hope secures.
He will my shield and portion be
as long as life endures.
My chains are gone, I've been set free.
My God, my Savior, has ransomed me.
And like a flood His mercy reigns,
unending love, amazing grace.
The earth shall soon dissolve like snow,
the sun forbear to shine.
But God who called me here below,
will be forever mine, will be forever mine.
You are forever mine.
