Gregory Carpenter
Chancel Choir and Bell Choir Director


Gregory Carpenter is a retired choral music educator having spent forty-two years at Waukesha South High School and Marquette University.  He still fills his passion for choral music by serving as the Chancel Choir and Bell Choir director at First United Methodist Church in Waukesha. 

After his “retirement” he turned his creative attention to a life-long love of woodworking.  He works out of a shop in the garage at his home using primarily native walnut that was harvested from his Wisconsin woodlot.  His projects range in size from jewelry boxes to a castle bunk bed he built for his granddaughter (see a picture at
